Job Description

Job Summary:
The Lighting – Assistant supports the setup, operation, and maintenance of lighting systems for events, productions, and live shows. This role assists senior lighting staff to ensure smooth execution of lighting designs and high-quality visual experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up, testing, and operating lighting equipment for events and productions.

• Support lighting technicians and supervisors during installations and live operations.

• Help monitor lighting quality and make adjustments as instructed by senior staff.

• Maintain and organize lighting equipment and inventory.

• Ensure proper handling and storage of all lighting tools and fixtures.

• Follow safety guidelines and technical standards during all operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Technology, Theatre Production, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience working with lighting systems in events, productions, or entertainment environments.

• Basic knowledge of lighting fixtures, control consoles, and DMX systems.

• Willingness to learn and assist senior technical staff.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience assisting in concerts, conferences, or live shows.

• Familiarity with common lighting consoles and rigging basics.

• Ability to work in fast-paced, live event environments.
