Job Summary:
The Lighting Designer – Senior Manager is responsible for leading the design, planning, and execution of lighting systems for events, productions, and large-scale projects. This role oversees lighting concepts, manages technical teams, and ensures that lighting designs enhance the overall visual experience while meeting technical and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creative and technical development of lighting designs for events, shows, and productions.

• Develop lighting concepts, layouts, and technical plans based on project requirements.

• Manage and supervise lighting teams, technicians, and external vendors when required.

• Coordinate with AV, production, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.

• Oversee installation, programming, testing, and operation of lighting systems.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and technical regulations.

• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets related to lighting production.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior lighting designers and technicians.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Theatre Production, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in lighting design, preferably within events, entertainment, or production environments.

• Strong knowledge of lighting systems, consoles, DMX protocols, and lighting control software.

• Proven experience managing lighting teams and large-scale lighting projects.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with international events, concerts, or large productions.

• Familiarity with industry-standard lighting equipment and programming tools.

• Strong creative vision with technical execution capabilities.
