Supplier and Procuring Entity Engagement: Ensure suppliers and public procuring entities are fully informed about LC requirements, serving as the primary contact for inquiries and proactively addressing concerns.
Data Collection and Analysis: Lead data collection to assess the volume and performance of suppliers meeting LC requirements and conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Compliance Monitoring: Manage data collection and tracking regarding compliance with mandatory lists and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and regular updates on complaint status.
Clarification Requests Management: Oversee the handling of clarification requests from government entities or the private sector regarding LC requirements, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Tender Document Review: Collaborate with the Centre of Spending Efficiency to review draft RFPs and other tender documents, ensuring proper incorporation of LC requirements.
Compliance Reporting: Create detailed compliance and status reports covering all LC-related data, keeping key stakeholders informed of progress and challenges to drive strategic decision-making.
Process Optimization: Analyze data to develop actionable insights for improving local content processes and refine procedures for enhanced compliance effectiveness.
Local Content Awareness: Develop strategies to raise awareness of LC requirements among suppliers and public procuring entities, fostering a culture of compliance and educating stakeholders on long-term benefits.
Cross-Departmental Coordination: Lead coordination efforts with internal departments to ensure a shared understanding of LC requirements, providing guidance to support local content objectives.
